Scott Monroe
Scott Monroe,a LEED Accredited Professional, earned his degree from the University of Florida School of Building Construction in 1975 and has over thirty-five years experience in various fields of construction including as a business owner, project management, civil engineering, historic renovations, and commercial building projects. Scott is a Project Manager/General Superintendent for Foresight Construction Group in Gainesville, FL, and is active in many community organizations including a founding member of the USGBC Heart of Florida Chapter and the USGBC Regional Task Force on LEED Accredited Points System.
Membership & Communications
The Membership & Communications Committee informs non-members about the benefits of becoming a chapter member through formal presentations, casual conversations, and written communications. We also work to actively engage members in building the organization and guiding its direction.
