The Stanley project takes advantage of a wide range of energy saving design techniques and new technology. At this point in our construction schedule we will see the finished framing and SIP’s panels, passive cooling coupled with a high-efficiency mechanical system, structured plumbing utilizing rainwater harvesting, and alternative energy options.

LEED® for Homes is a rating system that promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes. Green homes use less energy, water and natural resources, create less waste, and are more durable and comfortable for occupants.

Some of the techniques considered for the Stanley Residence to achieve these goals include:

  • Green Building Design Technology
  • Site Design Efficiency
  • PV System
  • Daikin HVAC system
  • Rainwater Harvesting
  • structured plumbing system
  • Verve Living System
  • concrete counter tops
  • Vast Pavers in the driveway

The Architect, Jennifer Langford, and the General Contractor, Ivan Solbach, will be on hand to conduct the tour and answer questions.  You can also follow the project's progress here.
