Updates from the USGBC Heart of FL Chapter

Dear {Contact_First_Name} {Contact_Last_Name},

Greetings USGBC members and supporters,

Please take a few minutes to review the below communications from some of our partners.  Also, our chapter has recently acquired a small office space and is in need of some basic office furniture.  If you have a filing cabinet, an energy efficient computer monitor, and/or some shelves (approximate dimensions: 5' wide by 1' deep) that you'd be willing to donate to a local nonprofit, please contact us.

Thank you,

USGBC Heart of Florida Chapter

CarbonSolutions in conjunction with Santa Fe College and FloridaWorks has developed a course in Green Building specifically designed to help industry professionals expand their knowledge base and/or find gainful employment. The course is geared towards architects, contractors, project managers and skilled laborers.

This course focuses on providing building professionals the fundamentals and real world examples of green building techniques, training them on emerging products and technologies, and preparing those individuals to take advantage of green opportunities in the construction field.

The course includes case studies, exercises, field trips and hands‐on demonstrations to equip participants to successfully apply these practices in the field.
