USGBC HEART OF FLORIDA STUDENT CHAPTER

On Wednesday, April 8th at 6PM there will be a meeting where elections will be held. The positions available are:

• President - oversees all meetings, serves as co-chair of the local USGBC chapter's Emerging Green Builders, makes arrangements for visiting speakers and trips, attend all BCN college council meetings.

• Vice President - Assists president with meetings, coordinating speakers and trips

• Secretary - Emails members about meetings, future events, and meeting minutes. Creates fliers for meetings and keeps a log of attendance.

• Treasurer - Oversees finances.

If you wish to run for one of these offices, please email me by Tuesday evening so that I may create a ballot for the meeting. At the meeting on Wednesday each individual running for office will speak for a few minutes as to why they should be elected prior to actual voting. If you wish to run, but will be unable to attend the meeting, attach a written dialogue to your email which I will read in your absence.
